Volunteers

dpvc 191

DPVC is run by a management committee which has responsibility for planning, development and financial control.  All members are volunteers.

In addition we are always looking for volunteer help, they form the backbone of our organisation and provide invaluable support to the elderly people in our community.

There are many benefits of being a volunteer.  As well as the feel good factor in being part of an organisation that makes a positive difference in people's lifes, you will also be invited to attend various parties and events during the year.

If you think you would like to get involved please contact Wendy Lees at the Community Resource Office or download the Volunteer Information Leaflet.

In particular we need volunteers:

- prepared to drive the minibus on it's regular shopping and library runs.

- to act as escorts on the minibus

- to use their own cars to drive people to venues in the community

- to help man the Community Resource Office

- to deliver the DEPEND

- to take part in our good neighbour and Friendly AdvantAGE schemes

 - to help fund raise (please click through to Fund Raising for more information)

- to help with the set-up and running of fund raising events

As well as Danny's home made sausage rolls, take a look at our Photo Galleries to see what you may have missed out on so far!
